Tithing

God wants to make our lives larger through generosity, and that generosity flows out of understanding grace, not guilt. The Macedonian church, though in severe trial and extreme poverty, gave with overflowing joy because grace had taken root in them, and the same progression from greed to tipping to percentage giving to tithing to spirit-led generosity is available to us today.

God owns everything, and He's invited you to steward it well rather than carry the weight of owning it yourself. When you spend wisely, save diligently, and give generously, your life gets bigger, more free, and more aligned with what God wants to build through you.

God does not need our money, but He is in relentless pursuit of our hearts, and how we handle our resources reveals who really sits on the throne there. When we choose to give God our first and our best rather than our leftovers, Scripture promises He opens the windows of heaven and makes our lives larger and larger.
