Surrender to God

Jesus shows us that being spirit-led isn't weird or scary — it's the pattern behind everything He did. He was filled with the Holy Spirit, then led by the Spirit (even into hard seasons), and then walked in the Spirit's power. That same pattern is available to us: what fills your life determines what leads your life, and what leads your life determines the power you walk in.

The good news of the gospel is that failure is not final — Jesus gives us the ability to start again rather than stay stuck in our mistakes. Nehemiah 9 shows the pattern: confess honestly before God and others, celebrate His unbroken faithfulness, and then consecrate yourself by drawing a line in the sand to live differently.
