Prayer and Access to God

Because of what Jesus accomplished on the cross, every believer now has direct, unhindered access to the presence of God — access that was once reserved for one high priest on one day a year. Effective prayer is not about earning worthiness or using the right words; it is about praying with faith in Jesus' sacrifice that grants our access, with authority in Jesus' name that releases power, and with deep trust in Jesus' character that anchors us even when God's answer looks different than we expected.
