Idolatry

We were built to worship, so the real question is never whether we worship but what we worship — and only God, who died to receive our worship, is worthy of carrying its weight. When we forget that all of life is a response to who God is, we build our worship on things that can't sustain us; when we remember, worship becomes our lifestyle, expressed through our time, treasure, talent, and talk.
