Who's excited? Who's excited to be in the house of God this morning? I said, who's excited to be in the house of God this morning?
Such an honor to be here. Listen, if you are a visitor, I met a visitor, before service Rose and I told this to Rose as I will tell this to you. I am not the pastor of the church, that is my cousin. He he looks a little bit like me. He's a little bit taller, a little bit lighter,
but we come from the same spiritual father. So, I like to call him my brother, but if you're visiting for the first time, I wanna encourage you to come back. My name is pastor Tyshawn. I'm one of the teaching pastors here and it's such an honor to be here. But, listen, you have to come back and hear pastor Daniel. I don't say this just to say it. I've been listening to him since I was probably almost seven or eight years in my personal life before I was ever a preacher, before I was ever teaching here on staff. The pastor of this house fed my soul in a season that I really needed it. So, can we just from that same regard, can we honor pastor Daniel, Ashley,
you know, the whole entire team really, Echo's team for their faithfulness and it's such an honor always to be here. And again,
if you're a visitor, make sure you come next week. Now listen, I told you guys last time I was here in December that I was gonna bring my wife and you're probably looking at me like, where's his wife at? Where is his amazing, beautiful, Hispanic, short, crazy, but amazing wife?
She's not here and I told y'all she was gonna come here. I may be back next month and so if I come back next month, you'll see her but there's a reason. I'll get to it in the service but she did tell me to tell you, tell her. She's like, tell them I'm sorry. Tell them they'll see me next next month and I may even serve in the kids ministry if I go crazy. I said, alright, I'll let the people know. So listen, she's not here but I do love her and it's just an honor just to be here with you today. But who's excited to hear the word of God? Are you pumped? Listen,
I am so excited to preach what I believe the Lord has put on my heart. Listen, if you have a bible, I want you to grab it. I want you to go to Daniel chapter 10. I'm gonna read verse one through five and then we're gonna skip a few verses. I'm gonna explain them, don't worry. And then we're gonna jump down to 10 through 19 and we're gonna see what the Lord is gonna do and I'm anticipating that he's gonna do something absolutely
fantastic,
I believe. Am I centered? Am I centered okay? Do I need am I? I'm not centered, am I? I'm just gonna move it a little bit. There we go. Perfect. I was like, man, I'm feeling a little slow for a second. But I want you to open up your Bible to Daniel chapter 10. Listen, if you don't have your Bible, we'll have the verses for you to follow on the screen and it reads like this, verse one, in the third year of Cyrus king of Persia, a word was revealed
to Daniel whose name was Bethesar and the word was true and he was in great conflict and he understood the word and he had understanding of the vision. In those days,
I, Daniel, mourning for three weeks, I ate no delicacy, no meat, no wine enter my mouth nor did I anoint myself at all for the full three weeks. On the twenty fourth day of the first month,
as I was standing on the bank of the great river that is Tigris, I lifted up my eyes and looked and behold a man in linen with a belt of fine golds from Eufaz was around his race. And we're gonna jump down to verse 10 and it reads, and behold that same man, he touched
sent me trembling on my hands and knees and he said, oh Daniel, man of greatly love, understand these words that I speak to you and stand upright for I have now been sent to you. And when he had spoken these words for me, I stood up trembling. Then he said to me, fear not Daniel,
from the first day that you set your heart to understand and humbled yourself before God, your words have been heard and I've come because of your words. The prince of Persia was stood in me for twenty one days. But Michael, one of the chief princes came for me for I was there left with the king of Persia and he made me to make you understand what is to happen to your people in the latter days for the vision that is yet to come.
When he had spoken when he spoken to me according to these words, I turned my face toward the ground and I was mute and behold, one in the likeness, the child children of a man touched my lips. Then I opened up my mouth and spoke and I said to him who stood before me, oh my Lord,
by reason of the vision pains have come upon me, I retain no strength. How can my Lord serve and talk with my Lord for now no strength remains in me and no breath remains in me. Again, having the appearance of a man, he touched me and strengthened me. And he said, oh man greatly loved,
fear not, peace be with you, be strong and of good courage. And as he spoke to me, I was strengthened when the Lord said, let me speak for you have strengthened me. You have strengthened me. I wanna preach a simple message. If you're taking notes, want you to take out your your phone or take out a pen. If you're opening up any other app that's outside the Bible or outside the scripture, I pray your phone messes up unless you're trying to pay attention in the name of Jesus, but I'm believing that God is gonna speak to you. But I'm preaching a message entitled, I have heard your prayer. I have heard your prayer. Let's pray. Heavenly father, I thank you for this amazing opportunity to preach your word to your people. Lord, anoint me. Use me. I thank you for what you did last service. I thank you for what you're gonna do this service. Lord, we give you all the honor, we give you all the praise, and all the glory. And everybody said?
Amen. Everybody said? Amen. Amen. If you're new to church or if you're new to scripture, what I want you to know is the man that I opened up with, Daniel,
is the twenty seventh book in the Bible. If you grab the Bible and you go into the twenty seventh book, you'll know a lot of stuff has taken place and by the time we get to chapter 10, a lot of stuff in this guy's life, Daniel, a lot of stuff has already taken place.
Now, he started off actually being an Israelite from Jerusalem but he was taken at a young age into captivity into Babylon.
And even though he was taken into captivity into Babylon, the favor of God was still on his life. It's crazy that sometimes God can remove you somewhere where you think you have favor and then you can go somewhere you don't even like but the favor actually will follow you there. It's it's from this principle that favor doesn't follow a place, favor follows a person and everywhere you go, the favor of God, you'll sense it beyond your life. And this was true for Daniel. Daniel had so much favor that even though he wasn't Babylonian and even though he wasn't raised in the culture, the kings,
the people, the staff, they all respected
Daniel and this is why they respected him because he had the favor of the Lord and he heard from God. You know, his name is Daniel, conveniently our pastor of this church, his name is Daniel and I feel like it kind of goes hand to hand with the both of them. Both of them hear from the Lord.
Both of them have the favor of God. Both of them know what it's like to have a vision, carry the vision, and see that vision come to pass in their life. When you think about Daniel,
whether we're talking from Scripture or we're talking for the pastor of this church or maybe you're a Christian in your life that you know that's really been walking with God. One thing that I want you to know that even Christians that have favor, even Christians that know God's voice, they will go through seasons
where they pray and they hear something. They actually don't hear something and they have to deal with one of the hardest things that I think me and you have to deal with. Last week, we didn't meet in person but if you're watching online, Pastor Daniel talked about how we can't allow our pain to keep us away from God.
I think pain often time is a reason that most people can step away from God, but what we've learned last week is that pain actually can be an invitation. I know that to be true in my life. Nine years ago this week,
I lost my baby brother and my little cousin to a mass shooting in Mississippi. Nine years ago. Every time I get to this week specifically, I'm always reminded about the horrible things that have happened in my life and the horrible things that can take place in this life.
But what I cherish, and I know this may sound crazy, even this morning as I was preparing and I was driving in, I was thinking about how when I lost my brother, though it was one of the most painful things I've ever gone through, that painful situation was an invitation by God, not a reason to go away from God.
Can I say this? In fact, my relationship with the Lord got a lot stronger because I gave him my pain. So, if you're in church today and you're going through something, I encourage you to go back and listen to that message but I also want to implore you to know something today that you don't have to allow your pain to prevent you from approaching God.
But if I can be honest, if there's a thing that keeps a lot of people, even the strongest of Christians,
if there's something that's hard for all of us to go through outside of pain, I'll tell you what's hard and I don't even care if you're the strongest person in this room. As matter of fact, there's probably a man right now, preferably married, and you're probably thinking to yourself, I'm the strongest man in this room.
Me, I'm tough. No one's going take me out. I'm not afraid of nothing. If the devil pops up, I'm going pop off on him, you know, I'm not afraid of nothing. I'll tell you what you're afraid of, every grown man that's married, you're afraid of this. You come home
and your wife who usually greets you with love, joy and amazement, you walk in and you say, Hey babe, and she don't say nothing. And then all you hear is her slamming cabinets, slamming doors,
throwing the cabinets right inside you like, what's going on? Oh my gosh, I forgot to take out the trash. Oh my gosh, I forgot to take out the dog. Oh my gosh, I forgot to take out my mind because I'm losing it because I need help and my wife is so mad that she has nothing to say so I am dealing with the silence.
And silence from your wife, that's hard to deal with and if you're married to a Mexican like me, that's harder to deal with, believe me.
But what's harder from silence from your spouse is when you feel like you're dealing with silence from God. Now you got this man named Daniel who knows the Lord,
who's walked with him. In fact, he has a pattern of praying, he has a pattern of going after God. This is not of a man that just got saved last week, no disrespectful to those that do. This is a man that have walked with the Lord, that has standards, that has practical things that he does every day, habits of holiness, skills that connect him to the Scriptures of God, to the sacraments of the
Scripture and to other things. Daniel is a man that knows the voice of God so I would imagine that it was probably hard for him to pray to God for twenty one days and not hear anything.
And the reason that I share this is because there's a lot of people that believe that preachers or pastors or leaders, especially those that stand on platforms like this and have microphones or if you're not new, you know that usually I hold a microphone but this weekend I'm trying to be like, Daniel, I got a headset on today. So maybe the people that hold the headset, you think,
Man, God always speaks to them and they never have to deal with silence. Let me tell you this, everybody, whether you're a preacher or not has to deal with God being silent about something. And I believe that sometimes you're experiencing God's silence because maybe you're not ready for the answer,
maybe he did speak and you don't want to agree with the answer, he told you not to marry that guy, he's bad for you but you think he's good looking but he's good looking on the outside but he's ugly on the inside and God keeps telling you that ain't the one. Listen, you don't have silence, you have disobedience.
But for some of us, it's not silence, it's actually something else. And I'll tell you what the something else is. Number one, if you're taking notes I want you to write this down, the attack is real.
The attack is real. In verse 12 to 13, this angel pops up. Now again, Daniel, he heard a vision, the vision made him scary, the angel pops up, he's the only one that sees the angel, which is crazy, God only reveals it to him. And he's having this moment
where now an angel is in front of him and the angel comes just as it just doesn't show up, he comes with a message and this is the message. Then he said to me, fear not Daniel, from the first day that you set your heart to understand and you humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard. Hold on.
You mean to tell me that as soon as he started praying, God heard him? Yes. You mean to tell me that as soon as you started praying, God heard you? Yes. For anyone in this room that you've been praying prayers and you feel like God's not answering them, I want you to know he has heard your prayers.
He's heard your prayers regarding your purity, about you wanting to be set free and not letting addiction control your life. He's heard your prayers about your family, about how you don't want it to return and you don't want to repeat history but you want to actually do something different. He's heard your prayers about your spouse and about your marriage and he knows that it's been hard for you. He heard your prayers when you were praying and you lost your loved one. He has heard your prayers. I need to say this to the person that you're in this room and you've been wondering, Is God ignoring me? He's not ignoring you.
There's a lot of people calling on him. I'm one of them and I'd be calling all the time. But God's not ignoring you. So the question that I would have if I'm listening to this sermon and you're sitting down would be, Well, Pastor Tyshawn, if he's heard me,
then why have he he's answered? Well, the next verse tells us why and it's why I gave you my first point of the attack being real. It said this, Fear not Daniel, from the first day that you set your heart to understand, you humbled yourself before your God, your words have been heard. Next verse.
And then he says, That the prince of this world, the prince of the kingdom of Persia withstood me for twenty one days but Michael, one of the chief prince, came to me for I was left there with the kings of Persia. Now, if you read this, you're going to think this, okay, Daniel prayed,
the angel heard, the angel started moving but this prince of Persia guy, it prevented the angel. Now, I say prince of Persia, I'm not talking about the old video game or the Disney Channel movie which both of them are great but I'm not talking about that. The Prince of Persia, if you go study, it's not a literal person.
This angel is speaking on a demonic entity, something that was interfering with the answered prayer that Daniel was needing. Why do you say this, Tyshawn? Because sometimes you got to understand that it's not the decision that you're dealing with.
There's someone in this room that you're wondering, is what I'm going through right now the consequences of my actions? Sometimes it can be. Sometimes it's not a decision. Sometimes it's not a demon, it is your decisions.
But sometimes it's not that you're doing something wrong, it's the fact that the enemy is attacking you, attacking your family,
attacking those around you, attacking your mind. You think it's normal for all those thoughts to come into your mind the way they do? What's happening right now is the enemy is trying to withstand you. Matter of fact, that word withstand comes from a Hebrew word, Ahmed, Ahmed. And this is what it means, it means to stand against, to resist, to oppose,
to remain firm against, to hold one's ground, to block or to hinder. That means that when God is trying to get something to you, there is something, there is some entity that is preventing the blessings to come to you. What is that? That's the enemy.
And the enemy is real. And you may be sitting down right now and thinking to yourself, well Pastor Tyshawn, listen, I love the Lord bro and I think this is all great and I believe in Jesus but I don't believe in demons. You know, that's just not my thing.
And I will tell you this, believing in Jesus is a lot harder than believing in demons because in order to believe in Jesus fully fully, you have to believe that he came from a virgin birth. Think about that.
Think about that. Imagine your fiance came and told you she was pregnant and she wasn't spending the night with anybody, you wouldn't believe it but we believe it. Not only was he born, he lived a perfect life, he didn't lie not one time.
You mean if someone walked up to Jesus and said, does this dress make me look bad? He had to tell the truth. You mean that he never lied? And then he died a sinner's death? So, died for us when we didn't even ask him to. Romans teaches that while we're yet sinners he died for us. Yes. And then, you believe this same man
rose again. Uh-huh. And then you believe that same man forty days later showed himself to other people to prove that he is God and this man just flew up to heaven like Superman. You believe that? Yes, a 100%. If you believe that, know that there's an enemy that's against your belief. And know that the enemy
does not want to see your soul prosper. The bible says in John ten ten, the enemy comes to steal, kill and destroy. He comes to hinder the promises of God. The the attack is real. This is why we have to pray.
This is why we have to spend time with God. This is why we have to put on worship. This is why we have to get in a small group. This is how we have to come to church even for the second service. You could have came for the first service but you came for the second so you get points in heaven. But this is why you have to come.
You have to come because you know
that your relationship with God is not just about you getting what you want. I remember when I was younger, a few years ago I was praying, I became a youth pastor and our youth ministry was like at 01/1987 or 01/1981 and I really wanted us to break February. Now, you're not a pastor, you're not a youth pastor but at the time to me the February was whatever is super important to you, that was super important to me. And I was like, God, I need you to break 200. If you don't do it, Lord, I don't know what I'm gonna do. I can't serve you no more. I need you to do it, God. Come on, just let me walk on water. Let me break 200. And I remember I was praying and the Holy Spirit being so faithful, if the demonic entities are real, which we know it's also real, is the Holy Spirit.
And the Holy Spirit, the bible says, he will convict you of sin.
It's the thing that you feel when no one says that's wrong, but you feel that it's wrong, it's the Holy Spirit. He also will correct you and the correction and conviction are different. Conviction is you know that's wrong, you should not be doing that, that does not glorify God. Correction is that you're a little bit off in this. So I wanna course correct you a little bit. And one day I was praying
and I felt the Holy Spirit convict me and he said, Tyshawn, I said what's up? Don't ever call me by my full government, you call me Ty, yes, what's up? He said, is God a vending machine or is he a voice that you listen to?
I said, he's a vending machine so just tell me how much it costs okay? Because I really want to get something from God but I realized something that day. I loved the Lord with all my heart but I turned him into a vending machine instead of listening to his voice.
What you've got to understand about walking with God and what you've got to understand about prayer is that prayer is not just about getting what you want, it's about spending time with God, which leads me to my second point, pray even when you don't hear back.
You ever got a friend or a person or maybe you sit next to them, don't look at them right now, that every time you hit them up or you text them or call them, they don't respond? And you're like, I know they're on their phone right now
and you can't answer? Like, I'm a man of God, I'm a preacher, I'm an evangelist, one of the things I'm not gonna do on this stage is disrespect anybody that I know personally at all, I'm not gonna do that so this person will remain nameless. His name is Michael Georges Eltecore, my best friend.
Every time I call him, he don't answer. And what makes me so mad is that sometimes I think he's in danger but I got his location, you ain't in danger. You're at In N Out, you're not in danger. And then I'm texting Michael, need you. Michael, pick up. Michael, call me. Michael, Michael, come on, help me.
And he don't answer and then it makes me even mad because then I check Instagram, oh, I hate when this happens, let me stop complaining in church. And I check Instagram, he didn't just post one story, he posted three stories, commented on other people's stories and I saw a few likes. I was like, you know what, I got a choice to make.
Either I'm done with Michael forever or I understand that he is my friend, I have the access to bug him, I know he still loves me and in spite of me not reaching out to him, it does not ruin the establishment of our relationship.
I know that's silly and I know that's a joke, but when you go and you pray to God and you don't hear him, it's not an excuse for you to just walk away and leave him alone. It's not an excuse for you to say, well God, I've been praying and I ain't hear nothing back.
Because prayer is not just you getting what you want from God, prayer is you getting strong with God. And you have to pray even when you don't hear anything. I don't know if this sermon is for anybody but there's been a lot of things I've prayed and haven't heard anything back.
Been believing for a long time for a lot of things. God I need you to do this. And sometimes I don't even want him to do something, I just want him to answer something. Why'd you make me so short? I wanna answer, I wanna answer.
Because you laugh but all my brothers are like six'one, six'two. It's not funny when I get together with my family okay? It's not funny at all. All these questions, I'm asking the Lord, why did this happen? Why did this take place? God I need you and I'm praying and I don't feel like you're responding. I'm praying
but I don't feel like you're really getting me. Lord, what is this relationship with prayer doing? It's strengthening me and you. I told you I was gonna tell you why my beautiful amazing wife is not here today. The reason she's not here is because last year, when we were starting Project Salvation, the ministry that me and my wife lead, last year we saw God do some really cool things by the end of the year. But in the beginning of the year, maybe you're an entrepreneur in this room and she'll know exactly what I'm talking about. You know when you're starting something and what it looks like in your head, it's not what is going on out here, you tell your wife, hey, over a million people gonna get saved and it's been one and it's your mom. That's kinda really where I was at
when it came to project salvation. I knew it was the Lord, I knew he spoke for me to do it, I didn't understand what it is to be quite honest, I still don't, but I'm following him in obedience and he's been doing something. Something's coming together because over the last year we've seen almost 15,000 people reach for the glory of God, almost 15,000 people. We've seen almost 2,000 people saved. So something's working
but last year it wasn't working yet. It was February, I was praying to God about a lot of stuff and one of the main things that I was praying about was God, would you help me not just sustain this new ministry
and not just sustain this new daughter that was born in October 2024, Reverend Gray Rowland, I love her so much. In fact, when I became her father, didn't realize I could love something this much and I really love a lot of things. I love food, I love video games, but I love my daughter with all my heart. And so, in January 2025, my wife came to me, actually I was walking downstairs and I see a card on the island and I see a whole bunch of pregnancy tests and I was like, why would she go get some old pregnancy tests and put it on our island like that's not disgusting, you know way better than that, why would you do that? And then I realized, oh, those were new pregnancy tests which were way more disgusting but hey, that's totally fine.
And she was smiling ear to ear because somehow, well I know how, she was pregnant. And I was so happy. And a few weeks later we got on the plane for our first Project Salvation in Arizona and I had to preach knowing that that morning my wife had a miscarriage. And I prayed to the Lord, God, why is this happening?
You know, I'll say this about miscarriages is that until you go through it, you really don't understand it.
It is probably one of the most bizarre things that I pray most people will never understand. I'd rather you just believe what I said and not experience it than experience it and say, oh, that's why he said what he said. It is a unique experience. And I asked the Lord so much,
God, are you gonna do something? Why did this happen? Are we gonna get pregnant again? And can I tell you how crazy God is a year later this year walking down the same stairs, same wife, thank you Jesus, okay? And she tells me, We're pregnant. I said, That's amazing, to God be the glory. A few weeks later, we're in Arizona,
another miscarriage and I'm praying to God and I'm not hearing anything. And I'm going to doctors, we went to the doctors, we think it's because you're traveling too much. I'm like, Traveling too much? Lord, we're called to be traveling evangelists, that's what we're supposed to do.
And I'm going to God and I'm saying this for the person in this room that after the service you still have to deal with the diagnosis. After the service you still have to deal with the death. After the service you still have to deal with the why am I not hearing God? So
when you find yourself maybe like me and my wife, there's a reason she's not here, you think about her just shoot a prayer. And as you pray for her, believe me, I'll pray for you. And for anyone that's gone through a miscarriages, I'll make sure to pray for that specifically this service and ongoing for the future of today. But I want to say this to everyone that the story with Daniel doesn't stop,
I rebuke you in the name of Jesus. No, it's probably me. The story with Daniel doesn't stop in him hearing the Lord
and him not hearing from the Lord. The story stops on point number three which I wanna tell you and you gotta write this down. If you didn't write down number one which is the attack Israel, it's okay, I forgive you, it's not like I worked on this. Or if you didn't work on point number two, if you didn't even when you pray, keep praying,
maybe write down point number three, expect a miracle. Expect a miracle. Here is Daniel, he is at this river that is the Tigris.
This angel shows up from verse six to verse nine, you can see the description of the angel is quite fascinating if you read it, it reads almost like a poem. And as you see this amazing angel that only shows up to Daniel, you realize that Daniel now is getting clarity on why God didn't answer his prayer. I tried
but the enemy showed up. And Daniel's like, okay, well is there anything you can give me right now? And there is something that Daniel got that was a miracle that I believe that you have to get today that can be a miracle for you. The bible says that this being, this angel, whatever this being was, says it touched Daniel
and immediately it gave him strength. Let me tell you what you may not know that you need right now, is that you need strength because when you've been in a silent season and you feel like you've everything has been pulled from you, whether it's something in your marriage, whether it's something at your workplace,
whether it's something at school, where it's something that everybody knows about or it's something that you haven't talked to anybody about, We all have something
that we are going through that we need the strength of God because it has pulled our strength and it has made us weak. And what I've got to tell you today, have good news for you. Now God, he loved Daniel so much that he sent him an angel. I think God loves you more because he did not send you an angel, he sent you an African American and we are better, okay? Not really, I would really love to see an angel, I really do, I think that would be really cool. I'll probably get freaked out but I think that would be really awesome.
But there's something I wanna give you, not I wanna give you, there's something that God wants to give you today and I wanna show you this promise is available to you and it's a miracle that you can hope for. What did Daniel get that day? He got strength.
He got strength for the vision that God gave him. God is gonna give you strength for the place that you're going and this strength can be found in Psalms twenty seven fourteen. This is the verse. It says, wait for the Lord
and listen, I got a baby, it kinda sounds like mine, I ain't gonna lie but I know it's not mine. So if you're okay with a baby, I'm okay with a baby. We love babies here at ECHO's don't we? Don't let those moms or anything feel bad, we love you a baby, want you to feel good and feel welcomed here for real, That's important for us. Wait for the Lord.
Be strong and let your heart take courage. Wait for the Lord. When
it gets to let your heart take courage, that's interesting language. It's so funny when we read scripture just sounds beautiful like, oh, that's great and then we close it and we feel great about ourselves. But sometimes if you read a verse you're like, hold on, that verse is kinda weird.
Because like courage is something that you give a person, it's not something you give your heart. So why would it say in Psalms 27, wait on the Lord. Is there someone in this room that you're waiting on someone? You just you If you're waiting on the Lord, you wait right there and you be strong
and you let your heart take courage. Well, how do we let our heart take courage? You put your heart out there again with God in the places that you feel like he's been silent And it takes courage to put your heart back in the hands of your father especially when you have seen
the damages and the pain that your heart has gone through from hoping and reaching out to him and praying and wanting an answer and not getting an answer and you're wondering, what's wrong with me? Is there something wrong with me? No. To the 16 year old teenager that you're just trying to figure out things right now, I'm telling you, give your heart to the Lord again.
To the young adult that you thought you had it figured out and now everything is showing you got nothing figured out, give your heart to the Lord again. To the person that you've just been so discouraged and you've been heavy laden
and you've been wondering, has God heard my prayer? Not only has He heard you, He wants you to let your heart hope again and wait for the Lord. Well, wait for the Lord for what? There's a verse, Proverbs chapter 13 verse 12. It says, hope deferred makes the heart sick, but a dream fulfilled is like a tree of life.
When it says hope deferred, what it's speaking to is the person that's been waiting and nothing's happened. Praying and all you hear is silence. In fact, you hear nothing at all. When you've been hoping for a while and it doesn't work out, it puts a strain on your heart. That's why it's hard for you to have faith.
That's really why it's hard for you to get excited about messages like this because you don't want to get your hopes up again. Because you remember what happened last time when you got your hopes up. You put your hopes up and then it didn't work out. I've been there.
I've been there and in multiple times in my life, I visit there. But what I've seen is not just the first part of Proverbs chapter 13 where my hope has been deferred and has made my heart sick. What does a sick heart produce? It produces a sick perspective. It produces sick language and it produces a sick faith.
And this is how you know that your heart's been sick, when the things of faith are talked about you oppose them naturally. And that's because your heart can't handle hope because you don't believe that it can happen for you.
But Proverbs thirteen twelve don't just leave us in the bad part. On the second part it says that, but a dream fulfilled is like a tree of life. What is this? It's when God answers and shows up and gives you the strength that you need to get to where you're going.
And maybe you came to church today and you've been wondering, God, I got a lot of questions and I don't feel like you're giving me a lot of answers. God, I got a lot of things that's depleting things of me, and I don't feel like I got enough coming inside of me.
God, what can you give me today that will help me? What can you give me today that will lead me? What is available for me? I'll tell you what's available for you today this morning church. What's available is the strength of God, and the strength of God will give you what you need to get you to your next season. The strength of God can help you with your families. The strength of God can help you with your ministry. The strength of God can help you with whatever you're going through. Well, Tyshawn, I'm feeling weak. I know pastor Tyshawn has been hard. I get it. Pastor Tyshawn, they're dead. I get it. But you gotta understand that God can give you the strength you need
to accomplish what's on your life, and you get it in the place of prayer. You get it getting alone with him and even today you're saying pastor Tyshawn, how do I apply this message? You walk outside and you get your heart open again
and you wait on the Lord to do what only he can do, which is the miracle in your life. Can you bow your heads and close your eyes? If you're in this room and you don't know Jesus
and you need to put your faith in him as your savior. What does that mean? That means that you are tired of just living your life with your own control, with you being the leader and the head honcho, but you actually want the Lord to become the leader of your life and the Lord of your life. I wanna give you an opportunity
to put your faith in him through a prayer that you're gonna repeat.
And all I'm gonna ask for you to do so we can see who you are and celebrate you is just lift your hands. Believe me, all the heads are bowed and all the eyes are closed except mine. I wanna see you because I wanna celebrate you. When So I count to three, I want you to lift your hands and we're gonna celebrate you. One, you know who you are. Two, you wanna put your faith and get saved. Three, I want you to lift your hands. Lift your hands. I see some hands. I see some hands. I see some hands. To God be the glory. I want everyone that is in this room, even those that are saved to repeat this prayer for those that are coming to Christ for the first time. Everybody repeat after me. Say, Jesus,
come into my life. Be my Lord and be my strength. Today, I put my faith and my hope in you. Can we thank God for those that have got saved this morning? It's such an amazing thing.
And hey, I don't want it to stop there. I wanna pray for you really quick. I would love to meet you after service, but if you're in this room and you're saying pastor Tyshawn specifically, I need some strength, man. I'm going through some things in my family, in my mind, and I really do need this strength you can speak of. It would be my honor to pray for you really quick. If you could, when I count to three, I just want you to stand. I believe you believe me, there's gonna be a lot of people standing. You're not the only one, but I wanna pray for you and I want you to leave encouraged. When I count to three, could you just stand one, you know who you are. Two, three, just stand because you feel like you need some strength, you need some strength, you need some strength. That's good. That's good. Can we give it up for those that are standing? Give it up for those that are standing. There we go. I see some more of you. You're like, I guess I need some strength. Well, hey, I want everyone that's in this room to bow your heads and close your eyes and we're gonna pray. Heavenly Father, I thank you for those that are standing and those that are not standing. Lord, would you give them strength for whatever's going on in their heart, whatever's ahead of them in their life, whatever's causing them to toil and question you Lord. I pray that the silence will not push them away from you and the pain will not push them away from you, but it will draw them closer to you. God, I thank you that today,
new strength is coming. Today, new perspective's coming. Today, new power is coming. In the mighty name of Jesus. And if you received anything today, give God a shout of praise right where you are.
Amen and amen.
